To address various national concerns in the political arena of our nation and fill in the acute gap between the demand and supply of the dynamic youth leaders who can guide the nation to prosperity, MAEER’s MIT School of Government (MIT-SOG), Pune is the first institute in whole of Asia to initiate a One Year Full Time Masters Program in Government (MPG), the first ever-professional program for developing and enhancing Leadership Skills for a career in politics and government.

- Students come from at least 15 different states
- Average age of students is 24
- 50% of students possess at least 3-4 years of work experience
- 30% of students possess a Masters degree
- 40% of students come from rural background
- 30% of students are politically active
- 30% are socially active
- 20% are academically active and rest in other sectors
