He spoke about the challenges that are faced by the Indian Medical system in health care and medical costs. HE discussed about the available and evolving policies and programs by the Health Ministry. He also spoke, at length, about the role of ASHA in rural healthcare. He highlighted the contribution of private sector and NGOs in India's health care and stressed the importance of a strategic partnership between all the stakeholders.
