International Policy Network, NGO - London
The International Policy Network is a think-tank discussing policy matters relating to Countries in a wide range of topics and we were welcomed by Mr. Mark Baille, the editor of the magazine. Also we were joined by Ms. Kristy who was a Research Associate in the Academic division. The discussion was very lively and we were taken through a lot of policy issues relating to Agriculture, health, Environment, Science etc. The students also showcased their short film on Vidharba to them and they were completely impressed by the work done by the participants. Also future areas of cooperation were discussed and they assured that they shall let MITSOG know for research cooperation and other related matters. |

Leicester Chamber of Commerce, Leicester (LCC)
Leicester Chamber of Commerce had organized a presentation and dinner for the participants. The occassion was chaired by Mr. John Day, Chairman, Mr. Martyn Traynor, Mr. Kishor Tailor, Mr. Mahendra Mistry amongst others. The Chamber explained their functioning and their contributions for the economy of Leicester and also we were surprised to note that Indians and people of IndianOrigin would be a majority in Leicester. It was followed by an Indian dinner and social networking that lasted for few hours. |

National Union of Journalists
Mr. David Aryton hosted us at National Union of Journalists and explained the functioning of the union and its relevance in the present day. He mentioned about how the journalists are organized in the United Kingdom. It was followed with an interactive session where participants questioned about how it could be relevant to the Indian context. |
