MPG – 05 Batch Set for International Tour
As a part of experiential learning the participants of MIT School of Government 05th Batch headed for International study tour on 22nd June to the United Kingdom and Europe.
The tour consists of Visits and interactive sessions at spectrum of organizations in UK and Europe. In UK the participants will be visiting ‘The London School of Economics and Political Science, London’ and ‘The Labour party office – and Interact with Mr Joe Sherry, Chair of Labour Students in UK.
The participants will be visiting most of the Organs of United nations including the UN Headquarter at Geneva and UNESCO HQ Paris; Office of United Nations High Commissioner for Human rights has hosted an interaction with the Participants. This session will guide them on variety of issues on Human rights at ONCHR office Geneva.
The Participants of MIT School of Government will be pursuing a residential Short course at ‘The Hague University, Hague’ on Global Governance and conceptual frameworks of various patterns of Government.
The entire tour will be an enlightening experience for the participants of MIT School of Government in studying Government from grass root level to the International level. The interactive session with eminent authorities and personnel during this tour will expose participants to international standards of Governance and help them to understand key areas in the era of globalization.
The tour has been coordinated by Mr Ramanand N Garge, faculty of International Relations at MITSOG.
Tour will be consisting of a faculty member and 17 Participants of MIT School of Government from across the country.
Prof Rahul V Karad, Chief Initiator and Dean, MIT School of Government and Prof (Gp Capt) D P Apte, Director MIT School of Government bid adieu to the participants and wished for a successful tour.
