The first international visit of the delegation of the MIT-School of Government was what triggered the Indo-Dutch Student Collaboration initiative, whereby a student exchange programme of sorts took shape. Under this programme, students from The Hague University, The Netherlands, come to MIT-SOG and students from MIT-SOG do like wise as part of their International visit. The programme aims at exchanging knowledge, not only on the academic plane, but the cultural one as well. The first delegation of Hague students that came in March during the MIT-SOG National Study Tour went back with more than lessons on the Indian Democracy and memories of the Taj Mahal.
