The MIT-School of Government, has, at a very young age formed some prestigious alliances. The most prominent of them are The Hague University and the GHRD (Global Human Rights Defence), an internationally acclaimed NGO, both based in the Netherlands.
The Hague University – MIT-SOG connection

With strong cultural similarities, it wouldn’t long before the most peaceful and the most peace loving nations joined hands. The MIT-SOG participants charmed their way into Dutch hearts right in their first year of visit where they made powerful presentations at The Hague University on AIDS - a threat that looms large over the entire humanity. The dean and a professor from the International Law Institute at Hague visited India that the association could be taken a step further. The following year, The Hague sent a student delegation to MIT-SOG in India. As the new batch of MIT-SOG students look forward to their trip to The Hague again, newer success stories will emerge.
GHRD and MIT-SOG: Common footholds

The Global Human Rights Defence (GHRD) is another organisation that the MIT-SOG has strong ties with, beginning on the level of principles. With the common denominator of the desire to serve the people, GHRD and MIT-SOG have collaborated on a number of projects beginning with the World AIDS Day programme. Other peace related activities, especially conferences is what these two organisations convene for. Ensuring human rights is what we stand for – leaders as activists and activists as leaders. |
